Tomlinson Wildflower Initiative

In the Spring of 2020, the Fallowfield Community Association along with  several volunteers undertook a new initiative in partnership with Tomlinson Group. The goal was to establish planted areas of native  perennial and self-seeding wildflowers/flowering shrub species, to create a more favorable environment for honeybees and other pollinators.  This initiative is part of our environmental stewardship approach for the community and is supported through a grant from TD Park People.  Despite a soggy spring and a very hot and dry summer, some progress has  been seen and we will continue to monitor the wildflower plot over the  next few years.
